Spooky Classy Chic.

Ok I know we're pushing it here. But if done right, this would be phenomenal. Lyndsi and I have wanted to do a "spooky classy" event forever. Picture tons of candles, vintage imagery, a 1920's feel, stone walls, dark linens, warmth, history and not a pumpkin or ghost to be found! There is a serious line that could be crossed turning this into a cheese fest halloween party. That is not the idea here. The idea is to work with the season and use it in a beautiful way. Has anyone ever been to Tequila's in Philadelphia? That's the feel I'm talking about. Subdued, Dia los Muertes feel. We couldn't even find the images to truly reflect the feel we are talking about because it really hasn't been done that often. And certainly not well. We will do it well. I promise you.

I think that is a great idea. For the past couple of years i've become completely in love with all things to do with Dia De Los Muertos. I love the 1920's feel too. Very Phantom of the Opera without the whole masks and whatnot. Great idea! I bet it'd be hard to find a client willing to do that though! Maybe i'm wrong. I love it though!

We are doing something similar with my sister's wedding, though she is leaning towards a little more of a rich goth feel--think blacks, deep reds, candelabra's etc...:)
