LA LA LA LA LA!!!!

That is the song I sing when I find a site that I really love love love. Graham and Green is such a site. Everything from the furniture, to the chachkies, to the lighting and decor is so fab I'm dying. I am so inspired by this site not only for events but also for my home. Do yourself a favor and poke around. It's so great. Here are some of my faves....

I've had my eyes on these glowing branches for some time. Oh the possibilities...

I have to give credit to Lyndsi for developing my love of font and text. Not only can you spell cute things like "I Do" (please don't) or your names, but just appreciating how cool the image of a single letter can be is awesome. I want these for my house asap.
These are very goth chic cool. I love the color trio.
So Moroccan and I love the punch of color. Very different.

I Do? I am and think it is lovely.

I am surprised that you made a comment about "I DO." Kind of rude considering a lot of people are doing that.

To each his own! Once you've signed onto someone's blog you are entering their world. This is where we express what we love and hate, the good, the bad and the ugly. It's not our job to be polite or rude. If we posted only what we thought everyone would agree on, we wouldn't be event designers and people wouldn't look to us for our opinions, or read our blog for that matter. We're blunt with our likes and dislikes as I'm sure you know if you're loyal readers. We prefer to do things a lot of people haven't done yet.
Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Yes, but you are also starting a business. Be mindful that comments like that may wonder what your new company is like to work with.

Our company is very tell it like it is! We don't put our name on anything we don't believe in. We would never create a false persona only to get business. We're proud of our tastes and who we are as a company. Thanks for your concern!

I love how honest you guys are and don't hold back. If I wanted to see what everyone else was doing I would read theknot.com keep up the great work and don't sensor! :-)

But you have to work with clients, right? Not everyone is going to have the exact same taste, down to every detail. You want the couples taste to show through too right? In any event, I do like your blog and enjoy reading it.

Hi! Thought I'd add my opinion.
My fiance and I are actual clients of SD! We booked them because we value something different. We wouldn't want something everyone else has done and if we did, we want the girls to tell us NO! No offense to you, everyone has their own tastes. But I think the type of people that would be offended by the "I Do" comment, aren't the type of people who would book event designers to begin with. Keep up the great blogging girls.

Wow - can I jump in too? I love this blog and the ideas are so great! But I kind of like the "I Do" letters. I was a little taken back by the post but I don't think it makes me not want an event designer. My event designer will incorporate his ideas with mine.
